Statement

I am interested in the living as an exponential system of complex dynamics in which something ethereal is installed in the material to conform that which is alive. what is alive is then, an inescapable dynamic of alterities that are constituted from being. I address the notion of being understood as a process of a collective subject in transit through territories yet to be described.

In this sense, my work is based on a rearrangement of connected data in a new order that, simple and complex at the same time, explores that notion of being from the subtle, ethereal, impermanent relationships between subject, context and object. from this, my creative work proposes other types of order that become visible infiltrating the shared reality to reveal that broken order that gives rise to my creative practice and situate itself in that terrain of what was previously known, trying to retain or recompose that fragmented to cling to it considering it as a dynamic present that constantly iterates.

It´s supposed for me to write something intimal here.

Since I was a child art has been my refugee. I have never been interested in doing any other manifest than my creative work. For me, art is the only dimension of human knowledge in which I, human part of a human species can find today some real peace and joy in the face of the constant and rapid siege that our "human world" has become for myself.

I have come to think that I did not choose art as a path, I feel that it was more my responsibility to be responsible with the path that life had given me. My mother's intuitive guidance was decisive for that, early in my career.

I make art for the simple need or pleasure of doing it, and the only goal I have set for myself with this is to share with others the joy that art generates in me today. Perhaps art does have a universal meaning, one that I myself do not know and that honestly, today; I am no longer interested in finding out. I make art because art is something human and I am a human, that is why making art is part of my nature.

As I am an immigrant son and grandson of immigrants; I recognize the origin of my creative essence in the movement between places marked by the reception of mobile subjects that nurtured the multifaceted, cosmopolitan and multicultural environment in which I lived the first stage of my artistic training. For this reason, I am particularly interested in the forces that make up the dynamics of the living, understood as a complex system within a medium in flux -space- in which the living constantly manifests itself in various material densities.
